Location: Manchester, UK (on-site)
Salary: £38,000 per annum
Employment Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time - 40 hours per week / Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30

Our client, a prominent company in the logistics distribution and supply chain industry, is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to join their team in Manchester. This role involves managing daily operations and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The position offers a stable work schedule and the opportunity to lead a dedicated team of warehouse operatives.

The Role:
* Oversee daily warehouse operations including goods-in, picking, packing, and dispatch.
* Manage a team of 12 warehouse operatives, coordinating shift rotas and performance reviews.
* Maintain stock accuracy through regular cycle counts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across the warehouse floor.
* Liaise with logistics providers to optimise delivery schedules and reduce transport costs.
* Report on KPIs including order accuracy, dispatch times, and inventory turnover to senior management.
* Provide oversight and leadership across the full-time schedule, Monday to Friday, ensuring smooth operations.

Required Expertise:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a warehouse or distribution management role.
* Proven track record managing teams of 10+ staff.
* Strong working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Good understanding of health and safety compliance.
