Tester (Assemby) 

Location: Hixon, Staffordshire - 4-Day Working Week

Job Overview

We are looking to recruit a Tester to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Hixon.

The role will involve testing finished products and assemblies, carrying out quality checks and identifying any faults before products are released.

This would be a great opportunity for someone with previous testing, electrical, electronics, assembly or manufacturing experience who has a good eye for detail and enjoys fault finding.

Key Responsibilities of a Tester 

• Testing products and assembled components
• Carrying out quality and functionality checks
• Identifying and diagnosing faults
• Working from technical drawings and specifications
• Using testing equipment and hand tools
• Recording test results and reporting any issues

Requirements for a Tester 

• Previous testing, manufacturing or assembly experience
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• An electrical or electronics background would be advantageous
• Previous fault-finding experience would be beneficial
• Good attention to details

Pay & Working Hours for a tester 

• £14.23 per hour
• 38 hours per week
• Monday to Thursday
• 6:30am – 4:30pm
• Some flexibility with working hours
• 4-day working week
• Friday, Saturday and Sunday off
