Holt Engineering is currently recruiting for an experienced Through-Hole Solderer to join a busy and growing manufacturing team based near Poole.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced solderer looking for a stable long-term role with an excellent work-life balance, working just four days a week with every Friday, Saturday and Sunday off.
🛠️ The RoleAs a Through-Hole Solderer, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out high-quality through-hole soldering to IPC standards
- Assembling electronic components onto PCBs
- Inspecting completed work and maintaining high-quality standards
- Working from technical drawings and production instructions
- Ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently
- Supporting production targets and deadlines
- Previous experience in through-hole soldering
- Strong attention to detail
- Good manual dexterity
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings
- Experience working to IPC standards
- IPC certification is preferred but not essential
- Reliable and able to work well as part of a team
- A good attitude and strong work ethic
- £13ph+ DOE
- Monday–Thursday working week
- Friday–Sunday off every week
