TIG Welder, £16.00 per hour, Temp to Perm, Central Belt

• Temp-to-permanent opportunity
• Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
• Friday: 7:30am – 2:30pm
• Overtime and weekend work available, paid at 1.5x the standard hourly rate
• IPAF training available for candidates with scissor lift experience who require further development

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites to fabricate, install, and fit steel structures
• Cut, shape, assemble, and fit components using steel, aluminium, and carbon steel
• Join and fabricate metal sections to precise specifications
• Carry out steel erecting duties safely and efficiently
• Complete fencing repairs and general site maintenance work as required
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards

Requirements

• Proven fabrication background with strong all-round engineering skills
• Experience working with steel, aluminium, and carbon steel
• IPAF certification is required
• Experience operating a scissor lift is desirable; training can be provided
• CSCS card is beneficial but not essential
• Ability to work independently, travel to client sites, and deliver high-quality workmanship
• Flexible approach to overtime and occasional weekend working
