Job Title: Stainless Steel TIG Welder / Fabricator
Pay Rate: £20.00 per hour (higher rates considered for exceptional skill levels)
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 15:30
- Friday: 07:00 - 14:30
An opportunity has arisen for a skilled Stainless Steel TIG Welder and Fabricator to join an established engineering manufacturer. The company produces high-quality commercial kitchen equipment, including bespoke units and extraction canopies, for major national restaurant, pub, and hotel chains.
Key Responsibilities
- TIG welding light to medium gauge stainless steel components to a high standard.
- Fabricating stainless steel commercial kitchen units, worktables, and extraction canopies from technical drawings.
- Cutting, folding, forming, and finishing stainless steel sheet metal.
- Polishing and finishing welds to meet hygiene standards required for commercial food preparation environments.
Requirements
- Proven, hands-on experience in TIG welding stainless steel (essential).
- Solid background as a skilled sheet metal fabricator.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings independently and work with high accuracy.
- Experience in fabricating commercial catering equipment or extraction canopies is advantageous.
