Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced TIG Welder/Fabricator to join their skilled workshop team.

The RoleAs a TIG Welder/Fabricator, you will be responsible for manufacturing and fabricating high-quality components and assemblies from engineering drawings, ensuring all work meets the client's exacting quality standards.
Key Responsibilities-
TIG welding stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium components

Fabricating bespoke products from technical and engineering drawings

Cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing metalwork

Reading and interpreting fabrication and engineering drawings
-
Carrying out quality inspections to ensure a high standard of workmanship

Operating workshop machinery and fabrication equipment safely
-
Working to production schedules while maintaining excellent attention to detail

Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
The successful candidate will have:

Proven experience as a TIG Welder/Fabricator

Excellent TIG welding skills on stainless steel and mild steel (aluminium experience is advantageous)

The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Strong fabrication skills and attention to detail

A high standard of workmanship and pride in producing quality products

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

A positive attitude and strong work ethic

Recognised welding qualifications or certifications

Experience working within a precision engineering or fabrication environment

Experience using workshop machinery such as guillotines, press brakes, band saws, and pillar drills
