Pertemps Wolverhampton are currently recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder Fabricator to join a busy engineering environment.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in TIG welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of fabrication methods, machinery and engineering practices.
The role will involve:
- TIG welding and general fabrication
- Building and repairing conveyors for production lines
- Carrying out maintenance and repairs on conveyor systems
- Maintaining conveyors to ensure production lines continue running efficiently
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and fabrication issues
- Working with a range of fabrication tools, machinery and equipment
- Supporting general engineering and maintenance requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven TIG welding experience
- Strong fabrication skills and knowledge of fabrication methods
- Experience building, repairing and maintaining machinery
- Experience working with conveyors or production-line equipment
- Good problem-solving skills
- A strong work ethic and good attention to detail
- A full UK driving licence
- The ability to travel when required
A company vehicle will be available from time to time for work-related travel.
The starting rate is £16.00 per hour, with the hourly rate negotiable depending on the candidate's skill level and experience.
