Job Title: Wall and Floor Tiling Tutor (Trainee or Qualified)

Location: Centre based

Salary: up to £40,000 (inclusive of location uplift) - Depending on skills and experience

Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Pension + more

Type: Full Time, Permanent 

Essential Criteria:

• Candidates must hold a minimum of a Level 2 NVQ in Wall and Floor Tiling etc.
• Must be an expert in your field with substantial hands-on competency – minimum of 5 years hands on experience.
• Hold own GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above / Functional Skills equivalents.
• Comfortable to deliver classroom / workshop-based training to small groups.
• Happy to undertake the relevant teaching and/or assessing qualifications.

Duties:

• Teach/assess learners within a classroom-based environment, working towards vocational qualifications in Wall and Floor Tiling.
• Support learners working towards Functional Skills English and Maths up to Level 2.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours
• Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
• Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
