Job Type: Permanent, Monday – Friday 8am – 5:30pm
Salary: Up to £45,000 depending on experience
Overview:
Unify are thrilled to be recruiting for a Timesheet Manager to join an established Plant Hire company based in Hemel Hempstead. You will join a leading provider of Plant Hire and Haulage service throughout the UK who are currently undergoing remarkable growth whilst supporting the UK’s Construction sector.
In this position you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of operator timesheets, supporting payroll, monitoring revenue and maintaining strong relationships with the operators and customers. This is a fast-paced role where organisation, accuracy and the ability to work to strict deadlines are essential.

What do I need?
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and strict deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with high volumes of data.
- Previous experience with timesheets, payroll, administration or data entry.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyse and cross-check information.
- Strong communication skills, a proactive approach and the ability to work collaboratively across team
- Experience working in a high-volume data entry or administration environment.
- A collaborative approach, with the ability to work closely with Recruitment, Payroll, Operations and wider internal teams.
- A strong understanding of payroll procedures, payment processes and data accuracy would be highly beneficial.
Responsibilities:
- Manage high volumes of operator timesheets, ensuring they are processed accurately and within weekly deadlines.
- Ensure operators are paid correctly and on time, maintaining accurate timesheet and payroll records.
- Review and process operator expenses, ensuring all payments are accurate and compliant.
- Liaise with customers and operators to resolve queries and ensure timesheets are approved promptly.
- Produce and analyse regular reports, cross-checking timesheet, payroll and operational data to identify discrepancies.
- Verify timesheets against invoices to ensure accurate billing and revenue reporting.
- Review telematics data and investigate any discrepancies or issues requiring further action.
- Support the management and scheduling of the company's digital timesheet processes.
- Complete regular operator compliance checks, ensuring information is accurate and processes are followed correctly.
- Work closely with Recruitment, Payroll, Operations and other internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
