Our client is a leading precision engineering manufacturer specialising in high-quality tooling solutions for a range of industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Toolmaker to support the manufacture, maintenance and modification of injection mould tooling while contributing to continuous improvement across the tooling department.

Tooling & Maintenance: Assemble, service and modify injection mould tooling, carrying out repairs, preventative maintenance and component manufacture using hand tools and workshop machinery.

Quality & Continuous Improvement: Monitor mould trials, analyse tooling performance, maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all work is completed in line with quality standards and company procedures.

Engineering Support: Support tooling reviews, assist with tooling improvements, maintain workshop equipment and collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure tooling programmes are completed efficiently.

• Time-served Toolmaker with experience in injection mould tooling.
• HNC or equivalent in Mechanical or Production Engineering - Advantageous
• Experience with welding, grinding, turning and milling
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive approach with excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Full UK driving licence

• £40,000 - £45,000 salary (DOE).
• Monday to Friday days
