Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be working with a highly regarded independent multidisciplinary consultancy that is looking to expand its planning team in Swindon. With decades of experience delivering successful planning and development projects across the UK, this consultancy has built an outstanding reputation for providing expert planning advice across a wide range of sectors.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join an experienced and collaborative planning team working on a diverse portfolio of projects, including residential, commercial, mixed-use, strategic land, education, retail and public sector developments.
You will become involved in every stage of the planning process, providing professional advice to clients, preparing planning applications and appeals, undertaking site appraisals, liaising with local authorities and supporting the delivery of successful planning outcomes.
Working alongside architects, urban designers, environmental specialists and other property professionals, you'll gain exposure to multidisciplinary projects while continuing to develop your own planning expertise.
The Ideal Candidate
- Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.
- MRTPI qualified or working towards Chartership.
- Previous experience within a planning consultancy or local authority.
- Strong knowledge of the UK planning system.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple projects.
