About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and vigilant Traffic Marshall to join our team on construction projects across Reading and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is safety-conscious, enjoys working outdoors, and is committed to maintaining a safe and efficient site.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely directing the movement of vehicles and plant equipment on site.
• Managing deliveries and coordinating vehicle access and egress.
• Guiding drivers and ensuring pedestrian safety at all times.
• Communicating effectively with site management, drivers, and operatives.
• Monitoring site entrances and controlling traffic flow.
• Carrying out daily safety checks and reporting any hazards or incidents.
• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with site health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Traffic Marshall or Banksman is preferred.
• Must hold a valid Traffic Marshall/Banksman qualification.
• Good understanding of construction site health and safety.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
