We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Traffic Marshall to join a busy construction project in Reading, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic around the construction site
- Managing deliveries and coordinating vehicle movements
- Ensuring site access and egress routes remain clear and safe
- Communicating effectively with drivers, site operatives, and management
- Monitoring and enforcing site traffic management procedures
- Assisting with general site safety and maintaining a secure working environment
Requirements
- Valid Traffic Marshall / Banksman Certificate
- Valid CSCS Card
- Previous experience working on construction sites
- Strong understanding of site health and safety regulations
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive approach to work
- Good communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
