We are looking for a reliable and assertive traffic marshall to join a busy new build housing site in Skelmanthorpe. This is a brilliant long-term, ongoing contract role that will see you through until the site's final completion.

As the first point of contact at the site entrance, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of delivery drivers, on-site trades, and the local public by managing all vehicle movements.



The Role:

  • Controlling the main site gates and safely directing all incoming and outgoing construction traffic (wagons, muck-aways, delivery vehicles).
  • Bankings trucks and heavy plant machinery safely into tight spaces and onto the highway.
  • Checking in all site visitors and delivery drivers, ensuring they are wearing correct PPE.
  • Maintaining a clean and clear site entrance/roadway to prevent disruption to the local community.
  • Working closely with the Site Manager to coordinate scheduled deliveries.
  • Upholding strict health and safety standards at the site boundary.


Role Requirements:

  • Valid traffic marshall / vehicle marshall ticket (CPCS, NPORS, or recognised equivalent).
  • Valid CSCS Card (Essential).
  • Previous experience working as a traffic marshall on a new build housing site.
  • Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis jacket/trousers, and steel toe cap boots).
  • Confident, clear communication skills and the ability to firmly manage traffic flow.
  • Punctuality and reliability-you are key to keeping the site secure and moving.
