Traffic/Plant Marshall

Red Sky Personnel are recruiting a Traffic/Plant Marshal for a leading contractor delivering airside construction and groundworks projects at Heathrow Terminal 2. This is a long-term opportunity for the right candidate.

The Role

• Directing and controlling vehicle and plant movements safely around site, including excavators, dumpers and delivery vehicles.
• Managing pedestrian and vehicle segregation in line with the site traffic management plan.
• Acting as banksman for plant and machinery operations, ensuring safe reversing, loading and manoeuvring.
• Working within a highly regulated, operational airport environment, following all airside rules and permit-to-work procedures.
• Supporting safe access and egress for deliveries and site traffic, and coordinating with the wider site team to maintain programme and safety standards.
• Long-term placement with ongoing project work at Terminal 2.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Traffic Marshal/Banksman on construction or civils projects.
• Valid Traffic Marshal/Banksman ticket (e.g. CTM, or NPORS/CPCS Banksman & Slinger).
• Valid CSCS card.
• Full right to work in the UK.
• Confident directing plant and vehicle movements in a live, operational environment.
• Able to pass Heathrow’s airside security vetting and reference check, or already holds (or has previously held) a valid airside pass with another company — prior airside clearance is a strong advantage and may speed up onboarding.

Pay & Contract

• Long-term contract role with a leading airside contractor at Heathrow Terminal 2.
• £19 per hour PAYE
