We are seeking a motivated and organised Trainee Compliance Administrator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys organisation, problem solving and working with systems and processes.
The role will initially focus on providing administrative support within the Quality and Compliance function while developing a broad understanding of how management systems support business performance, customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
As part of your development, you will have the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification alongside practical workplace experience. This role offers a clear development pathway towards a Quality Administrator or Quality Co-ordinator position.
What you will be doing:
You will support the Quality Team with a range of administrative and compliance activities including:
- Managing and monitoring quality and compliance inboxes
- Logging customer complaints, quality issues and corrective actions
- Maintaining records within the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Supporting document control processes, including procedures, forms and work instructions
- Managing supplier documentation and certification records
- Maintaining calibration and equipment compliance records
- Assisting with preparation for internal and external audits
- Supporting the tracking and closure of corrective actions
- Producing reports and maintaining quality performance data
- Assisting with customer questionnaires and compliance documentation
- Supporting continuous improvement and process improvement activities
- Providing general administrative support to the Quality and Compliance function

What we're looking for:
We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Is confident using Microsoft Office applications
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills
- Enjoys working with processes, systems and data
- Is dependable and willing to learn
- Has a positive and proactive approach to work
- Can manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow processes accurately
Essential criteria:
- GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent)
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally
Desirable criteria:
- Previous administration experience
- Experience working within a regulated, compliance or office-based environment
- Experience using databases, reporting tools or document management systems
- Interest in quality, compliance or business improvement
