Trainee Contracts Manager

Our client is an established principal contractor delivering high-quality refurbishment projects across London and the South East. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Trainee Contracts Manager to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent construction graduate or someone in the first year of their career to gain hands-on experience across every stage of the construction process. You'll work alongside experienced professionals and receive structured training in estimating, quantity surveying, commercial management.

The Role

Working closely with the senior management team, you'll gain exposure to a variety of disciplines including:

  • Estimating and tender preparation
  • Quantity surveying and commercial management
  • Procurement of subcontractors and materials
  • Contracts administration
  • Project planning and programming
  • Site management and health & safety
  • Design coordination
  • Client liaison and project reporting
  • Cost control and forecasting
  • Quality assurance and project handovers
