Trainee Estimator

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Trainee Estimator to join a leading bathroom design company based on the outskirts of Basingstoke. This is a full-time permanent position.
Responsibilities as a Trainee Estimator:
- Offer early engagement with architects and contractors to assist with drawings and designs
- Prepare tenders as part of a team
- Measure and mark up drawings that form part of quotations for the client
- Put together labour and product prices for projects
- Liaise with new / potential customers by phone and email
- Follow up on potential leads
- Assist with project management duties
Requirements:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confidence in dealing with customers / suppliers
- Strong understanding of bathroom construction
- Excellent Microsoft Office
- Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to urgent tasks
The Role:
- Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 17.00pm
- Starting Salary of £26,000, negotiable depending on experience
- Full time, permanent position
- Located on the outskirts of Basingstoke
- 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
- Company-wide bonus scheme
