We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading multi-franchise approved commercial vehicle dealer group, for the position of Part-Time Trainee People Advisor based in Westbury, Wiltshire. Duties:
  • Support the People Team with employee relations and HR administration
  • Assist in preparing employee relations documentation, reports, and correspondence
  • Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files and HR systems
  • Support administration and coordination of employee relation cases
  • Attend meetings to take notes and support HR colleagues
  • Respond to routine HR and people-related queries from managers and team members
  • Support onboarding and employee lifecycle administration
  • Help review and update HR policies, procedures, and templates in line with GDPR compliance
  • Support employee engagement, wellbeing, and culture initiatives
  • Assist in preparing management information reports
  • Build positive working relationships across the business
  • Support delivery of company culture activities
  • Participate in relevant training to enhance HR knowledge and skills
  • Act as an ambassador for the People Team and our client
Requirements for the Trainee HR Advisor position:
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong administrative ability and attention to detail
  • Computer-literate with confidence using various software and technologies
  • Ability to adapt and work effectively in different situations
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Previous experience in HR, office administration, or the automotive industry is beneficial but not essential
  • A UK driving licence would be advantageous but is not mandatory
