What You'll Do:

Join a growing materials processing business and begin your engineering career within a busy, hands-on environment. Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll receive full training while developing the skills needed to become a fully qualified Maintenance Engineer.

  • Assist with routine inspections across plant and workshop areas
  • Support planned preventative maintenance activities on a range of processing equipment
  • Learn how to diagnose faults and assist with breakdown repairs
  • Gain hands-on experience working on conveyors, screening equipment, and other plant machinery
  • Help maintain excellent housekeeping and safety standards across site
  • Work from maintenance schedules and engineering job sheets
  • Learn and follow permit systems, risk assessments, and safe systems of work
  • Develop your understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems
  • Work closely with experienced engineers who will mentor and support your development

What You'll Bring:

  • A genuine interest in engineering and maintenance
  • A relevant engineering qualification, apprenticeship, or college-based engineering studies
  • A practical mindset and willingness to learn
  • Good problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to work
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • A positive attitude and commitment to working safely
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, automotive, construction, agriculture, plant maintenance, or engineering environments would be advantageous but is not essential
  • A desire to build a long-term career within engineering
