Attega Group is working on behalf of our client as their in-house recruitment provider.
We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Pump Engineer to join their team.
The main purpose of this Trainee Pump Engineer role is to work alongside the lead engineers to install, service, maintain, repair, test and commission pumps and associated equipment.
In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £29,000, depending on experience.

This role is Full-time and permanent. The hours of work will be a 45 hour working week.
Reporting to the Operations Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Assist with pump servicing, repairs, installations, and maintenance.
- Assist with mechanical and basic electrical fault finding.
- Learn to diagnose and repair pump and motor faults.
- Use hand and power tools safely.
- Assist with testing and commissioning equipment.
- Complete service reports and maintenance records.
- Travel to customer sites and represent the company professionally.
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- Develop the skills required to work independently as an engineer
The ideal candidate:
- Basic electrical knowledge is essential
- Good mechanical and practical aptitude
- Full UK driving licence and ability to drive
- Willingness to travel to customer sites
- Good problem-solving skills
- Reliable, hardworking, and keen to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
