Trainee Recruiter

Our client is looking for a motivated Trainee Recruiter to join their growing recruitment team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to start a career in recruitment, sales or talent acquisition, with full training provided.

No previous recruitment experience is required. The successful candidate will be supported with structured training and hands-on experience in sourcing candidates, speaking with applicants, managing job adverts and supporting the recruitment process from initial contact through to placement.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and contact candidates about suitable job opportunities.
• Review CVs and assess candidate suitability for available roles.
• Advertise vacancies across job boards and recruitment platforms.
• Speak with candidates by phone and email to understand their experience and career goals.
• Arrange interviews and provide updates to candidates and clients.
• Maintain accurate records using CRM and recruitment systems.
• Support consultants with candidate shortlisting and vacancy management.
• Build strong relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Learn how to manage recruitment pipelines and support successful placements.

About You

• No recruitment experience needed; full training will be provided.
• Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner.
• Motivated, resilient and eager to learn.
• Comfortable speaking with new people and building relationships.
• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Target-driven with an interest in recruitment, sales or customer service.
• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, telesales, administration or call centre work is beneficial but not essential.
• Positive attitude and willingness to develop a long-term career in recruitment.
