About the Role

Are you great on the phone and looking for a career, not just a job? All Square Recruitment is a small, growing recruitment agency based in Braintree, Essex, and we’re looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant (Recruitment Resourcer) to join our team. You’ll earn bonuses while helping local people find work, and no recruitment or admin background is needed, because we’ll teach you recruitment the All Square way.

We help local industrial and logistics businesses across Essex find the temporary workers they need. As a small team, you won’t just be a number here. Instead, you’ll have real responsibility from day one and a clear path to grow your recruitment career.

This job is all about people. You won’t be selling to companies (yet!). Your focus is finding and looking after our temporary workers, so that our clients always have the staff they need. Consequently, the better you are at finding great people and filling shifts, the more the business grows, and the faster your career grows with it.

Key Responsibilities

• Find and speak to candidates: Call people who are looking for work, register them with All Square and check they have the right-to-work documents and paperwork needed to start.
• Fill work shifts: Take job requests from the team and quickly match the right temporary workers to the right shifts.
• Keep in touch: Call and message our workers to confirm shift times, check how they’re getting on and answer any questions.
• Handle last-minute changes: If someone cancels at short notice, step in quickly to find a replacement and keep our clients covered.
• Keep candidate records accurate and up to date on our recruitment system.
• Build strong, friendly relationships with temporary workers across warehouse, production and logistics roles in Essex.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

You don’t need an office or administration background. You might currently work in retail, hospitality, a trade, a call centre or customer service. We care about your attitude, not your CV. We’d love to hear from you if you are:

• Great on the phone: Confident, clear and friendly, and you enjoy talking to people from all walks of life.
• Organised: You can keep track of who is working where and you pay attention to the details.
• Driven and resilient: You enjoy a fast-paced environment and don’t mind making lots of phone calls, even when people don’t answer.
• Reliable: You turn up, work hard and want to learn quickly.
• No previous recruitment, resourcing or sales experience is required, as full training is provided.
