Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Location: Liverpool Street, London 

Salary: £26,000 base salary + uncapped commission

The Role

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you'll learn the full recruitment cycle from the ground up: sourcing talent, building relationships with clients and candidates, and managing the process from first contact through to placement. No two days look the same, and the better you get, the more control you have over your own earnings and progression. 

What You'll Be Doing

• Sourcing and engaging top talent across your specialist market
• You will establish relationships with candidates, by pre qualifying them and understanding their skills, experience and career goals. 
• Managing candidates throughout the recruitment cycle, from initial conversation through interviews and ultimately to placement. 
• As you progress, you will be able to develop your own client relationships, building and managing your own client base. 
• Working towards individual and team targets in a fast paced, competitive environment
• Building your own network and industry presence through LinkedIn, events and client meetings.

What We're Looking For

• A competitive streak, team sports, individual sport, or just someone who hates losing
• Strong communication skills and confidence talking over the phone
• Someone who is looking for a long-term career rather than a part-time job
• Money-motivated, with ambition to build something long-term
• Previous work experience is a plus (retail, hospitality, sales or anything customer-facing) but not essential

You don't need a background in recruitment or a specific degree; what matters most to us is your work ethic, resilience, and willingness to learn!
