Recruitment Apprentice / Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Salary: £18,000–£20,000 basic salary, plus uncapped commission, bonuses and incentives

Nexus Careers is looking for an ambitious and confident individual to join our growing Chelmsford team as a Recruitment Apprentice or Trainee Recruitment Consultant.

No previous recruitment experience is required. We are looking for someone who is motivated, personable, comfortable speaking with people and keen to build a long-term career in a fast-paced, performance-driven industry.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Sourcing and approaching prospective candidates
• Advertising vacancies across job boards and social media
• Conducting candidate registration and screening calls
• Matching candidates with suitable career opportunities
• Building strong relationships with clients and candidates
• Arranging interviews and managing feedback
• Supporting business development and client growth
• Maintaining accurate records within our CRM
• Working towards individual and team performance targets

• Previous sales or customer service experience is beneficial but not essential
