Are you a recent engineering graduate or apprentice looking to build a career in robotics and automation?
This is a great opportunity to join an established engineering business working on automated manufacturing systems across the automotive and wider industrial sectors.
You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, gaining hands-on experience across robot programming, automation, system integration and commissioning.
The Role
- Assisting with programming industrial robots including ABB, KUKA and FANUC
- Supporting the integration of robotic systems and manufacturing equipment
- Assisting with offline robot simulation and programming
- Supporting system commissioning and customer projects
- Testing and adjusting systems to meet production and quality requirements
- Maintaining technical and safety documentation
- Working with engineers to identify improvements and optimise automated processes
- Developing your skills through structured training and mentoring
Requirements
Essential:
- Degree, diploma or apprenticeship in Mechatronics, Robotics, Automation, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Basic understanding of robotics and programming principles
- Genuine interest in robotics and automated manufacturing
- Strong problem-solving and analytical ability
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and develop technically
- Programming experience
- Exposure to industrial robots or automation equipment
- Understanding of automated manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of robotics and machinery safety
