• Excellent opportunity for a Junior Engineer who is looking to develop within a Field Service Engineer position. 

• You will receive excellent product training and have a good amount of variety between field work and in house project work. 

• Door to door pay with good levels of overtime available. 

• Would suit a recently qualified Apprentice or possible Fitter who is used to working on machinery in general.

As Trainee Service Engineer, we do need someone who is comfortable to travel across the UK to visit customer sites. When not on site, this position involves working on internal projects to help plan further site work. Salary: Flexible salary depending on level of experience + Overtime. 24 days holiday + banks, 5% pension matched, Private healthcare Aviva, Pool Van for all jobs (can be taken home when needed too), Overtime x1.5 rate anything over 8 hours a day,

This Trainee Service Engineer job will involve:

• After training, you will predominantly be working on customer sites to undertake a range of engineering duties, including servicing, repairs, testing, and modifications. 

• When not on site, and working in the office, duties focus on reports, preparing jobs, liaising with customers by telephone / email, and getting parts ready for site. Occasionally a bit of light assembly work too.

• Whilst multiskilled, you will be working with electrical parts, including drives, PLC's and control panels. Any electrical knowledge or qualifications would be ideal. 

 This Trainee Service Engineer job will suit:

• A recently qualified Apprentice or Fitter, who is preferably multiskilled or slightly electrically biased, who wants to develop a career as a Service Engineer. 

• Be within a commutable range of Newcastle-under-Lyme. Whilst this is mostly Service based, we do need someone who can commute to the office between projects. 

• Someone who wants a bit more variety and enjoys seeing / working within new environments. Excellent earnings potential within the whole package and dynamic of the role.
