Trainee Weighbridge Operator

LNS Recruitment are currently looking for a Trainee Weighbridge Operator to join our client’s team based in the Rainham, RM13 area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to learn a new skill, reliable and looking for a role with the opportunity to develop and progress.

No previous weighbridge experience is required, as full training will be provided.

Duties will include:

• Learning to operate the site weighbridge and associated digital weighing systems
• Recording incoming and outgoing vehicles accurately
• Checking and maintaining weighbridge records and paperwork
• Liaising with drivers and the onsite operational team
• Ensuring vehicle movements are recorded correctly
• General administration and data entry
• Following site procedures and relevant regulations
• Assisting with the day-to-day running of the weighbridge
• Developing your knowledge of weighbridge operations and site procedures

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a full UK driving licence and have their own transport
• Be reliable and punctual
• Be comfortable using computers and learning new systems
• Have good communication and organisational skills
• Have a positive attitude and be keen to learn
• Be interested in developing a new skill and progressing within the role
