Core business includes the installation of windows, doors, conservatories, roof line drainage, thermal roofs, and small building projects.
Position: Trainee Window Installer / Service Engineer
Location: Olney, Buckinghamshire (will involve travel up to 80 miles to client sites)
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 8.00am to 4.30pm, Mon-Fri
Salary: Dependant on experience
Benefits: 28 days holiday per annum
Responsibilities:
- Install windows, doors, conservatories and other small building projects.
- Service calls and remedial works.
- Other works as required.
- Continual improvement to aid both efficiencies and customer satisfaction.
About You:
- No previous experience as a Window Fitter is necessary — full training will be provided to the right candidate.
- A friendly, customer-focused approach, comfortable representing the company professionally in customers' homes or on site.
- A team player who is hard working, diligent, logically minded and with a keen eye for detail.
- Someone who is competent with manual tasks. You may have experience or training in other trades.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling, working at height, and working outdoors in all weathers.
- Willing to work towards an MTC card or similar industry qualification if not already held (not essential, as this can be arranged).
- A full, valid driving licence.
