Are you a Trainee Workshop Technician from a production or manufacturing background looking to kickstart your engineering career with a well-established company offering full training, long-term progression and an early finish every Friday?

Originally founded in the 1800s, this company has grown to employ over 100 people and has become a global leader within the marine industry. With a multi-million-pound turnover and a continually increasing workload, they are looking to expand their friendly service team.

In this workshop-based role, you'll receive full training on the company's SAP system and how to estimate repair costs. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include fault-finding on electric motors, producing technical reports, carrying out repairs and testing units before they're returned to customers. You'll work Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, and Friday, 7:30 AM - 1:30 PM, giving you an early start to the weekend.

This role would suit a Trainee Workshop Technician or someone from a production or manufacturing background who is looking to build a long-term engineering career within a stable, growing business that invests heavily in training and development.

The Role

• Fault find, inspect and repair electric motors
• Produce technical reports and estimate repair costs.
• Receive full training on SAP, quotations and electrical repair techniques.
• Workshop-based role with an early finish every Friday.
