£33,000 - £42,000 + Great Pension + 30 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Christmas Closure + Health Scheme + Excellent Benefits

Are you an experienced Refrigeration or Air Conditioning professional looking to move into training and assessment?

Do you want to step away from full-time site work and into a rewarding role where you can support apprentices, work closely with employers, and help develop the next generation of industry professionals?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established College, supporting work-based learners across Refrigeration and Air Conditioning programmes. You'll play a key role in helping apprentices develop their technical skills, achieve their qualifications, and progress successfully within the industry.

As a Trainer Assessor in Refrigeration / Air Conditioning, you'll manage an assigned caseload of learners, delivering training, carrying out workplace assessments, and supporting learners throughout their programme. A large proportion of the role will be spent on site at learners' workplaces, working closely with apprentices and employers to ensure progress, quality, safety, and successful achievement.

The ideal candidate will have strong practical experience within Refrigeration or Air Conditioning, ideally gained through an apprenticeship route. You'll have a thorough understanding of the industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire apprentices. Previous teaching, training, or assessing experience is desirable, but experienced industry professionals with the right technical background and motivation to move into education will also be considered.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Refrigeration or Air Conditioning professional to transition into education, gain further training and assessing experience, and make a lasting impact on apprentices entering the sector.

*Support the development of delivery materials for learners.
*Permanent position, 35.5 hours per week.
