Training & HR Coordinator
Talent Guardian
Location: On-site, Wembley
Salary: £30,000 - £34,000
Talent Guardian is delighted to be partnering with a thriving food manufacturing business to appoint a Training & HR Coordinator.
This is a varied, hands-on role at the heart of a busy and diverse operation, combining the coordination of training and development with day-to-day HR support. It would suit a highly organised, people-focused individual who enjoys keeping things running smoothly, thrives on variety, and is comfortable working with a degree of ambiguity. There's genuine scope to grow, too, with the opportunity to step up and support at HR Advisor level over time.
What you'll be doing
Training & development
- Coordinate all company inductions, including the weekly and monthly schedule and the technical elements such as food safety and allergens.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive training matrix covering all processes and procedures across the business.
- Monitor training expiry dates and ensure refreshers and renewals are scheduled in good time.
- Organise health and safety and other training courses, and manage the suite of core online modules (for example food safety and anti-harassment training).
- Run regular reports on training completion, compliance and outstanding requirements.
- Provide day-to-day support across the weekly HR activities, stepping up to support at HR Advisor level as you develop.
- Manage the new starter process, including offer letters, onboarding and setting up new employees.
- Process leavers and keep HR trackers and records accurate and up to date.
- Support the payroll process with timely and accurate information.
Essential
- Experience in a training, HR or people-focused administrative or coordination role.
- Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Confident working with spreadsheets and running reports (strong Excel skills).
- Comfortable working with ambiguity in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage a diverse workforce.
- Experience within food manufacturing or another regulated environment (allergens, food safety, health and safety).
- A CIPD qualification, or working towards one.
- The ability to speak Hindi or Tamil would be a real advantage given the diversity of the workforce.
- Exposure to payroll processes and HR systems.
