Our client, a reputable main dealership in Reading, is seeking an experienced Transaction Manager to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled automotive sales professional looking to advance into a leadership role within a well-established, family-owned dealership.
The Transaction Manager will play a key role in driving customer satisfaction, sales profitability, and operational efficiency.
Benefits of a Transaction Manager:
- £30,000 Basic Salary
- £60,000 OTE
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 6.00pm; one day off during the week; Saturday, 8.30am – 5.00pm; no Sundays
- 31 days holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays

- Oversee the transaction process to ensure excellent customer experience
- Develop and nurture relationships with the sales team, finance providers, and insurance partners
- Assist customers with finance, insurance, and additional purchase products, ensuring compliance with FCA regulations
- Prepare and present finance proposals; support the sales team in closing profitable deals
- Maximise sales efficiency through effective lead management and reporting
- Support achievement of dealership targets for new and used vehicle sales
- Provide coaching and support to sales staff, enhancing performance
- Deputise for the Sales Manager as required
- Ensure accurate order processing and timely vehicle delivery
- Contribute to financial forecasting and profitability analysis
- Proven experience in automotive sales management or a senior sales position
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Significant showroom experience within the automotive industry
- Knowledge of finance, insurance products, and FCA regulations
- FCA accreditation or willingness to obtain it
- Ability to build rapport with customers and internal teams
- Organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
