Transport Manager – Redditch (Permanent)
Blackstone Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Manager on behalf of a well-established business based in Redditch.
This is an excellent opportunity for a transport professional looking to join a growing organisation and play a key role in the day-to-day management of transport operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily transport operation
- Ensure compliance with Operator Licence requirements
- Manage driver performance, compliance and scheduling
- Monitor driver hours, tachographs and Working Time Regulations
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and compliance
- Liaise with drivers, customers and internal stakeholders
- Support fleet management and vehicle utilisation
- Drive operational efficiency and service performance
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Transport Manager or in a similar transport leadership role
- Strong understanding of transport legislation and compliance
- Knowledge of driver hours, tachographs and Operator Licence requirements
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- CPC qualification desirable
