Transport Operators Wanted - London Gateway

Location: London Gateway
Hours: Full-time, permanent

Shift Patterns Available:

• 04:00 - 14:00

• 08:00 - 18:00

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Type: Permanent / Full-time

Fusion People are supporting a growing logistics business at London Gateway who are looking to recruit 2-3 Transport / Traffic Operators to join their busy transport operation.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in transport, traffic planning, logistics operations or container movements who is looking to join a business with strong growth plans and real opportunities to develop further down the line.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate daily transport operations

• Communicate with drivers, customers, ports and suppliers

• Monitor vehicle movements and respond to any operational issues

• Ensure deliveries and collections are completed efficiently

• Maintain accurate transport records and system updates

• Ensure compliance with company procedures and transport regulations

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in transport, traffic office, logistics or haulage operations

• Strong communication and organisation skills

• Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Confident dealing with drivers, customers and suppliers

• Good attention to detail and able to update systems accurately

• Experience using Fargo TOPS would be highly desirable

• Experience within container transport, ports or vehicle movements would be beneficial

• Flexibility to support with on-call cover during the week would be advantageous
