Transport Operator

Are you a logistics pro with a sharp eye for detail? We're looking for a Transport Operator to join a fast-paced distribution team. If you can juggle routes, keep drivers informed, and stay cool under pressure, we want to hear from you!
The Role:

• Coordinate: Manage the safe, efficient transport of UK cargo.
• Plan: Assist with route planning and optimize vehicle fleet usage.
• Admin: Handle invoicing, KPI reporting, and load documentation.
• Communicate: Act as the key link between drivers, customers, and warehouse teams.

What You Bring:

• Transport Knowledge: Understanding of drivers' hours, legal compliance, and vehicle specs (dimensions/weights).
• Geographic Insight: Good knowledge of the Southeast of England.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in PC and transport operating systems.
• Resilience: Ability to multi-task and problem-solve in a busy environment.

The Details:

• Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00.
• Flexibility: Must be able to cover early/late shifts for holiday cover (approx. 5 weeks per year).
