Transport Planner

Working hours required: 45 hours per week Monday to Friday 4am or 5am till 2pm or 3pm

About the role:

Duties include:

• Create efficient and compliant daily delivery plan to maximise the vehicle productivity of our Pall-Ex multi drop collection and delivery fleet
• Report daily the PPV across the full delivery operation
• Promote changes in operations to promote further efficiency or cost saving opportunities
• Liaise with the Collections (Input Customers) and Trunking Co-Ordinator to ensure that the delivery plan fully supports the customer collection plan each day
• Ensure Service performance and ETA targets are achieved daily
• Oversee morning operation and ensure the Transport team are all engaged with the daily plan
