Transport Supervisor

TRANSPORT SUPERVISOR – 4 ON / 4 OFF

Location: Thame, Oxfordshire
Shift Pattern: 4 On / 4 Off
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000, depending on experience

Vanta Staffing are currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Supervisor on behalf of our client based in Thame.

As Transport Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day transport operation, supporting drivers and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the shift.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and managing a team of drivers

• Coordinating daily transport operations

• Managing driver schedules and workloads

• Monitoring driver performance and attendance

• Ensuring all transport activities are carried out safely and compliantly

• Dealing with operational issues, delays and breakdowns

• Liaising with drivers and internal teams throughout the shift

• Ensuring company procedures and legal requirements are followed

• Maintaining accurate transport and compliance records

• Supporting the Transport Manager with the daily operation

• Previous experience within a Transport Supervisor or Transport Management role

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Good understanding of transport operations and compliance

• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities

• Confident working in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to manage and motivate a team

• Reliable, proactive and professional approach

• 4 On / 4 Off shift pattern
