Temporary ongoing with the potential to become permanent after 12 successful weeks 
£17.32 per hour
Shifts Available:
  • Sun – Thu 11:30 – 20:00 (which will change to 1330-2200 in arounds a months time)
OR
  • Tue – Sat 03:30 – 12:00 (which will be change to 0530-1400 in around a months time)
We are looking for an experienced Transport Team Leader to oversee daily transport operations and lead a team of drivers within a fast-paced logistics environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic conditions, has strong leadership capabilities, and is committed to ensuring smooth and compliant transport execution.
 
Job Duties;
  • Lead daily transport operations and oversee drivers during assigned shifts.
  • Liaise with planners, dispatch, and warehouse teams to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods.
  • Monitor deliveries ensuring schedules are adhered to.
  • Support shunting operations and delivery station activities.
  • Ensure compliance with H&S and transport regulations.
  • Monitor vehicle movements using GPS tracking systems 
  • Complete end of the shift debriefs and handovers
 
Experience needed;
  • Previous experience in a transport or logistics environment.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage operational challenges in real time.
  • Knowledge or experience with DVSA compliance regulations
