Are you an experienced Travel Branch Manager, Assistant Manager or experienced Senior Travel Consultant looking for your next challenge? We're looking for a commercially minded travel professional to join a successful travel organisation as a Travel Agency Relationship Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to move into a head office based position while remaining closely connected to the travel industry. Using your retail travel expertise, you'll support a network of travel agency partners, helping them develop their businesses, improve performance and make the most of the products, services and support available to them. You'll combine relationship management, business development, training and operational support to play a key role in helping travel partners succeed.

Travel Agency Relationship Manager - Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the key point of contact for a portfolio of travel agency partners, providing expert advice, support and guidance.
- Use your travel industry knowledge to help partners develop and grow their businesses.
- Support new agency partners through the onboarding process, helping them establish successful operations from the outset.
- Build strong working relationships and become a trusted business partner to agencies across the network.
- Deliver engaging training sessions, workshops and best practice guidance to support partner development.
- Share updates on products, services, promotions and business tools, helping partners maximise opportunities.
- Work closely with internal departments to resolve queries and provide practical solutions.
- Hold regular meetings with partners at head office and other locations as required.
- Represent the business at trade events, conferences, workshops and industry exhibitions.
- Maintain accurate records and relationship activity within the CRM system.
- Support the wider team with partner enquiries via phone and email, ensuring consistently high levels of service.
Travel Agency Relationship Manager - Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience within the travel industry is essential.
- Experience as a Travel Branch Manager, Assistant Manager, Team Leader or Senior Travel Consultant would be highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of retail travel or tour operations, sales performance and customer service.
- Experience coaching, mentoring or developing team members.
- Commercially aware with a proven ability to drive performance and achieve targets.
- Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with strong presentation skills.
- Organised, proactive and solutions focused approach.
- Comfortable delivering training and sharing best practice with others.
- Positive, flexible and supportive team player with a passion for the travel industry.
Travel Agency Relationship Manager - Package & Benefits
- Salary £33k to £35k depending on experience.
- Office based Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm.
- Opportunity to work from home 2 days per month.
- Occasional travel required for meetings, events and industry functions.
