The Travel Team Sales Manager will be responsible for maximising the

sales of a team of Travel Specialists while delivering excellent service and maximising the conversion rate from enquiry to booking. 

This exciting and varied role also focuses on the recruitment, training, management and motivation of their team, and leading by example.

Travel Team Sales Manager Duties:

- Set clear targets, monitor performance and use reporting to maximise sales and conversion.

- Hold effective 1:1s, recognise success and address underperformance promptly.

- Recruit, motivate and lead a positive, competitive and supportive team.

- Drive consistent use of the sales process and provide constructive feedback on calls and client interactions.

- Create individual development plans to deliver coaching and training based on performance and product gaps.

- Review feedback trends with specialists and implement actions to improve service.

Travel Team Sales Manager - Essential Requirements:

• Experience in managing a travel team from a tour operator background is essential 
• A strong sales record, excellent customer service and travel industry experience.
• Previous sales leadership or team management experience within a tour operator .
• Confident communication, resilience and a calm, positive leadership style.
