Truck Sales Executive

We’re looking for a Truck Sales Executive to join a well-established commercial vehicle dealership in Huddersfield.

This is a role suited to someone with DAF and sales experience, as you will be managing customer accounts, developing new business and selling trucks across the Yorkshire area.

What’s on offer?

• £40,000 – £45,000 basic salary
• Commission structure with earnings up to £80,000
• Permanent position
• Mon – Fri | 8:30am – 5pm
• Guaranteed fixed commission of £500 per month for the first 5 months
• Commission at 11%, rising to 16% for new customers
• Additional commission for internal bodywork and paintwork sales

What will you be doing as a Truck Sales Executive?

• Selling trucks to new and existing customers
• Managing existing customer accounts
• Developing new business across the Yorkshire area
• Visiting clients across areas including Huddersfield, Barnsley and Doncaster
• Building strong relationships with new and existing clients
• Generating sales and profit for the business
• Participating in marketing activity, sales promotions and events

What will you need?

• Previous truck, commercial vehicle or dealership sales experience
• Minimum 2 years’ sales experience
• DAF experience
• Strong relationship-building skills
• Confidence generating new business
• A proactive, target-driven approach to sales
