Are you an experienced ICT Technician with a passion for using technology to support learning? Do you enjoy working as part of a collaborative team and delivering high quality technical support?

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Senior ICT Technician to join a forward thinking organisation. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring staff and students have reliable access to digital tools and systems, helping to create an effective and engaging learning environment.

About the Role

You will be responsible for providing technical support across multiple sites as part of a dedicated ICT team. This is a varied and hands on role where you will support the day to day running of IT systems while also contributing to ongoing improvements in digital services.

You will help ensure that technology is used effectively to support both teaching and learning, while maintaining a secure and efficient IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support, maintenance and installation of IT systems
  • Support the administration of Microsoft 365 and cloud based services
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Assist staff and students with IT use, including during lessons where required
  • Deliver basic training and guidance on software and systems
  • Maintain high standards of data security, safeguarding and online safety
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent support service

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in an IT support role
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and related technologies
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Well organised with good time management skills
  • Able to remain calm and effective when working to deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and a customer focused approach
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
