Turkish-Speaking Teaching Assistant – Full Time - LE7 - Primary

Full-Time | Year 3 | Turkish-Speaking Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Turkish-speaking Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil who currently has very little/no English.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a fluent Turkish-speaking Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children and helping pupils develop their confidence and communication skills within the classroom.

The successful candidate will:

• Be fluent in Turkish and English

• Have previous experience working with children/experience in schools

• Have experience or confidence supporting children with English as an Additional Language (EAL)

• Be patient, nurturing and supportive

• Have the ability to build a strong, trusting relationship with the pupil

• Be confident working within a school environment and supporting the pupil’s learning and development

• Be available to work full-time
  
  Safeguarding & Compliance:

• Must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain a new Enhanced DBS
• Must be able to provide satisfactory references, including relevant employment/childcare experience
• Must have the right to work in the UK
• Must be able to provide relevant identification and employment documentation
• Must be willing to complete all required safeguarding and compliance checks prior to starting
• Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is highly desirable
