Tyre Fitter / Wheel Refurbishment Technician – Nights

The Job 

• Sunday night – Friday morning
• 22:45  –  08:15
• £33,000 - £35,000 DOE 
• Orpington BR6 7GZ

Duties 

• Taking wheels off cars using a standard jack and air jack
• Fitting and stripping tyres using a tyre machine
• Using acid to remove debris and paintwork
• Carrying wheels up to 23” – Heavy lifting / manual handling
• Welding and Straightening  (Training provided)
• Preparing for painting  (Training provided)
• Painting wheels (Training provided)
• Using different tools and machinery

Experience 

• Automotive background working with wheels and tyres

Requirements 

• Valid full UK driving or bike licence
• Own transport to be able to get to us (country lane)
• Right to work in the UK
• Good timekeeper
• Physically fit and able to lift weight
• Good listening skills
