Our client, a reputable independent automotive service centre in Shaftesbury, Dorset, is seeking an experienced Tyre Fitter to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for skilled individuals to develop their career within a well-established local business that has been operational for over 15 years.

Duties of a Tyre Fitter:
  • Carrying out all vehicle tyre fitting procedures, including puncture repairs
  • Conducting stock control and inventory management
  • Providing excellent customer service by interacting with retail customers and colleagues
  • Assisting with workshop organisation and daily operational tasks as a Tyre Fitter
  • Ensuring high-quality workmanship within specified timeframes
  • Maintaining health and safety standards at all times
Requirements of a Tyre Fitter:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Tyre Fitter, with at least 1-2 years of relevant employment or apprenticeship
  • Strong technical knowledge of tyre fitting procedures
  • Friendly, approachable personality capable of engaging with customers and team members
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic and keen attention to detail
  • Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Ability to produce high standards of work in a fast-paced environment
