We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and reputable garage operating for over 60 years in Andover, seeking a Vehicle Tyre Fitter. The Vehicle Tyre Fitter will play a vital role within the team, delivering high-quality tyre fitting services and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced tyre fitting professional to join a friendly, local business committed to growth and staff development.

Duties of the Tyre Fitter:
  • Carry out vehicle tyre fitting procedures, including puncture repairs
  • Conduct wheel balancing and alignment tasks when required
  • Manage stock levels for tyres and associated parts
  • Interact professionally with customers at the workshop and reception
  • Maintain high standards of work quality within specified timeframes
  • Ensure health and safety compliance across all tasks
  • Assist with general workshop duties as required
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Tyre Fitter, ideally with 1-2 years of relevant work experience or apprenticeship
  • Strong customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable manner
  • Reliable and punctual, with the ability to produce consistently high-quality work
  • UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Experience or knowledge of ADAS wheel alignment/tracking would be highly advantageous
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
