UHPC Production Engineer

Red Chilli Recruitment

UHPC Production Engineer

Saudi Arabia

We are looking for an experienced UHPC Production Engineer to join a growing advanced manufacturing operation in Saudi Arabia.

This is a hands-on production engineering role for someone who understands advanced concrete technology, precast manufacturing and high-performance cementitious materials and can take real ownership of the UHPC production process.

You will be involved across the full manufacturing cycle — from raw materials, batching and mixing through to mould preparation, casting, curing, testing and continuous process improvement.

We are particularly interested in engineers who have worked with UHPC, high-strength concrete, architectural precast or technically demanding concrete products and who enjoy solving production challenges on the factory floor.

The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring UHPC products are manufactured consistently, efficiently and to the required structural, dimensional and visual standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and supervising daily UHPC batching, mixing, casting and production activities
  • Ensuring accurate dosing of cementitious binders, fine aggregates, silica fume, admixtures and fibre reinforcement
  • Monitoring and controlling mix rheology, flowability, slump flow and air content
  • Ensuring finished products achieve required compressive, flexural, tensile and durability performance
  • Developing and controlling UHPC mixing sequences and production parameters
  • Managing fibre dispersion and preventing issues such as fibre balling, segregation or inconsistent distribution
  • Overseeing mould and formwork preparation, casting techniques and consolidation processes
  • Developing and monitoring appropriate curing regimes, including controlled moisture, steam or thermal curing
  • Investigating production defects including cracking, voids, surface imperfections, colour variation and dimensional inconsistencies
  • Troubleshooting batching or material inconsistencies and introducing corrective actions
  • Improving production efficiency, cycle times, material utilisation and overall manufacturing throughput
  • Working closely with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering and Production teams
  • Supporting laboratory testing and analysis of UHPC products and trial batches
  • Developing and maintaining production procedures, SOPs, batch records and technical documentation
  • Ensuring manufacturing activities comply with applicable UHPC, concrete and structural standards
  • Supporting the maintenance and reliability of mixers, batching systems, curing equipment and fibre dosing systems

What We’re Looking For

Ideally, you will have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline
  • Around 3–5+ years’ experience within precast concrete, high-performance concrete, ready-mix, UHPC or specialist cementitious manufacturing
  • Previous experience with UHPC or high-strength concrete would be highly advantageous
  • Strong understanding of concrete mix design and optimisation
  • Knowledge of powder packing, particle distribution and water-to-binder optimisation
  • Experience working with chemical admixtures, particularly polycarboxylate-based superplasticisers
  • Understanding of steel, synthetic or other fibre reinforcement systems
  • Experience managing concrete rheology and production consistency
  • Knowledge of specialist curing techniques and their effect on strength, shrinkage and durability
  • A strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to troubleshoot manufacturing issues quickly
  • Experience producing SOPs, production procedures and technical documentation
  • Good communication skills and fluent English

Experience working with standards such as ASTM C1856/C1856M, EN standards or equivalent regional UHPC specifications would also be beneficial.

The Opportunity

This is a chance to join a growing advanced manufacturing business in Saudi Arabia and play a key role in developing, optimising and scaling its UHPC production capability.

The role would suit someone who enjoys being close to the manufacturing process, solving technical problems and helping to build robust production systems in a developing operation.

Location: Saudi Arabia

International candidates with relevant experience who are open to relocation are encouraged to apply.
