UK Direct Sales Manager

£55,000 + Bonus + Benefits (office based with visits to customers)

A leading UK manufacturer of specialist medical capital sales is seeking a UK Direct Sales Manager to lead a team of regional sales managers and drive growth across a diverse customer base. This hybrid role combines office collaboration with field‑based leadership, offering strong earning potential and career progression.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing a team of regional sales managers, securing high‑value opportunities, and directly overseeing national accounts. This is a strategic, hands‑on role requiring both leadership and commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of regional sales managers across the UK
• Work with the team to secure high‑value opportunities and contracts
• Directly manage and develop national accounts, including private healthcare chains
• Develop and implement sales strategies in collaboration with marketing colleagues
• Identify and approach new opportunities and prospective customers
• Deliver presentations, product training and in‑person demonstrations
• Analyse data and produce clear, actionable reports
• Promote and maintain a strong, positive brand image

About You

• Proven experience in sales leadership, ideally B2B and/or healthcare sector
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Strategic thinker with problem‑solving ability and commercial awareness
• Confident working independently and using initiative
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Experience with CRM systems (knowledge of Sicon CRM advantageous)
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail

Job Type & Salary

• Full‑time, 40 hours per week (Mon–Fri, 8.30am–5.00pm)
• Additional hours may be required for travel, trade shows, exhibitions or projects
• Overnight stays may be required
• £55,000 base salary plus performance bonus
• Electric vehicle included in package, with potential relocation support
• Reports directly to the Head of Sales & Marketing
