Unqualified Nursery Practitioner - Flexible Daily Supply Work

Pay: £14-£15 per hour

Veritas Education is currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Unqualified Nursery Practitioners to work on a daily supply basis across a range of welcoming nurseries in Surrey. Whether you're looking for full-time work or just a few days each week, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in Early Years settings, with flexible opportunities to suit your availability.

In this role, you will be supporting children age 0-5 years, fostering a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment, and helping each child reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities for Unqualified Nursery Practitioner:

    • Support children's learning, development, and well-being through play-based activities
    • Help create and maintain a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment
    • Assist with daily nursery routines, including mealtimes and outdoor play
    • Encourage children's social, emotional, and communication development
    • Work collaboratively with staff and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children in nurseries, schools, childcare, or a similar setting
  • A passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development
  • A friendly, caring, and proactive approach
  • Willingness to learn and grow professionally
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
